Pictured below is James getting ready for his first day of school -- Daddy had to start practicing his routine to see how it will work out when he's on his own on Thursday! It went pretty well, but Jim also didn't have to call in to his 8am phone meeting with James in his lap today...we'll see how that goes in the future days (I think it will be hilarious when he has to un-mute the phone to say something and James gives them a big burp "Hello")!
All dressed up and ready to rock 'n roll. This picture was actually taken by my neighbor, Rachel, after getting James home from day care (thus my big smile). She kept me busy all day as we both had to get our cars worked on (Big Al was not highway-driving safe) so we walked the mall (I was very good and didn't purchase anything other than treating us to some ice cream). Not surprisingly, James didn't nap well for his teachers...only about 10 minutes in their arms (welcome to my world ladies) and woke up right when they laid him down in the crib. He did teach a little girl that's 3-4 weeks younger than him how to eat her toes (see below pictures) though...maybe he's going to follow in my footsteps into the teaching world?
Yummm, toes taste terrrrrr-i-fic!
I got an email with this picture of James on his first day of school. He went to visit the program directors in the main office while taking a nap on one of his teachers (which was one of the two, ten-minutes naps he took today).
After school the neighbors came over to see Baby James. Bella is 2 and Abby is 4 (her and James actually share a birthday). We love these girls and hope they stay in the neighborhood for a long time :)
Aww! That time sure went fast...
